Composite Resin, also known as White Filling is a mixture of glass and plastic. Apart from cosmetic use, they are also used to restore decayed teeth. Due to being tooth-colored, composites look natural and it is not easy to see the difference. Although durable, composite resins are not permanent and would need to be replaced after several years.

Local anesthesia is administered during the procedure, which should wear off a couple of hours after the process is complete. There might be some sensitivity in the first couple of weeks. The Dentist will share with you the schedule for follow-up checkups and cleanings. For Dental Fillings, reach out to Gentle Family Dentistry of Leesburg at (703) 737-0070
